<< you are not alone >> ... for i am here with you <<it was a very warm autunm day in hogsmeade, with big, crispy brown leaves falling from the trees, lightly falling on the concrete path, just a few feet away from a pair of blue high heels, followed by white leggings going up two long slender legs. up to a deep blue skirt, and by the side was a blue bracelet, that led up her long arm. in the her hand was a blue clutch bag. on the upper part of the body was a white t-shirtwith a blue heart necklace dangling neck from the neck. by the side of some long blonde straight hair was some blue stood circular earrings. the girl that stood walking along was heidi grace ashton, a seventh year hogwarts student. heidi walked along the flat leafy concrete path. she suddenly saw a lovely big bench. it was in a flower-filled courtyard behind alberts. it was a stone bench, and all heidi need at the moment was some rest. it wasn't busy around there so heidi decided to sit down and rest for a few minutes.
<< she sat down letting her blue skirt lightly touch the stone bench. heidi hated gstuck up, big headed mean people. she thinks there just spoilt, and the wrong people to live in the world, she was happy to get into hogwarts to be away from them kind of people back home. magic was her life now, and even though she loved free time and weekens, she hated that she was away from her whole teenage life. being a witch and doing magic. that was definatly her life. so this kind, magic loving girl was just thinking about one thing. home. any random thing always just pops into her mind. and that just randomly cam to her head. 'wow, all the weekend pass by like, just that. my life is so pathetic.'
<< heidi looked around, hoping one of her friends would come and comfort her, she ran her long blue nails through her hair, no knots anywhere. she kept looking round and round, she just wished she had more friends and that she could be better at everything. heidi hated her life so much. its a wonder she's even made herself last this long.

{{ lily rosalie evans }} they'd been at school for only a week and already there was a hogsmeade trip. lily wasn't complaining. she loved hogsmeade - the bustling town really made her feel at home. as it was the first trip of the year, the town was filled with students enjoying their time in the town. she smiled as a group of third year on their first visit scurried by, heading towards honeydukes. the redhead followed suit, her blue trainers slapping against the leaf-strewn ground. a few hours ago the leaves were still intact but then all of a sudden they'd all descended. lily opened the door to the sweetshop and breathed in the wonderful scent of honeydukes. her steps brought her to the chocolate aisle. her hand reached out to the box of chocolate frogs and clasped around them, the bracelets she was wearing on the arm sliding down towards her wrist. lily headed for the counter and handed over three sickles for the chocolate. with a smile at the cashier, she turned on her heel and left the shop. lily looked into her mental list of things she had to do today. she'd already done most of the things but she still had to pick up a spare quill from albert's. lily brightened at the prospect of going into her favourite shop. after all, it was ice cream paired with books. what more could she want?
}} when lily entered the ice cream parlour-cum-bookstore she was glad she'd worn her beanie hat and cardigan - it was pretty cold in there. the seventh year headed straight for the quills. she ran her fingers along the boxes, wondering which one to get. at the last box she found exactly what she wanted. a sparrow feather quill which came with a bottle of ink. lily's pale pink painted nails fingered the sparrow necklace she was wearing around her neck. it was a gift from her muggle grandmother which had been left in her inheritance. the quill was perfect. lily picked up the quill and ink, turned around and made for the counter. "that'll be five sickles, please," the cashier asked. lily delved into her bag and fished around for the money. she handed it over and got back her items in a little white and red striped paper bag. lily headed for the door but paused. it was a nice day. she could always go and sit in the courtyard that was just behind albert's. it was filled with flowers and was basically a relaxing place to go. lily turned around, her jeans scraping along the polished floor, and walked towards the back door that led to the courtyard. her blue and white t-shirt rippled slightly in the breeze although her ivory coloured cardigon protected her from the worst of the chills.
}} lily grinned, closing her eyes and breathing in the fragranced air. it was truly beautiful out here. opening her eyes again, lily began to head to the tulip bench which was everyone's favourite spot in the courtyard. her green eyes fixed onto the person who was sitting there. heidi. she looked upset. lily knew just what to do. she pulled a chocolate frog out of her bag and with it in her hand, headed towards her friend. lily sat down beside her and held out her arm, offering heidi the chocolate. taking one for herself, she concentrated on unwrapping it for a moment. "So. What's wrong?" she asked simply. it was completely obvious that heidi was upset about something. lily took a bite out of her chocolate and awaited an answer. WORDS} 600 MUSE} pretty good. << you are not alone >> ... for i am here with you << heidi, took out of her bag a mirror and small brush and fixed up her hair, for it had just got all wacky, thanks for some wind. heidi was quite cold for she had a short sleeve top on. the wind just kept blowing harder and harder. heidi hated the bad weather and would get rid of it if she just could. still heidi kept looking around, only with a bit of sight, as her hair was in the way. heidi wanted to put her hair up but didn't even have a headband on her. heidi looked around once more, and if no one was coming she was just going to get off her backside, and look for someone to talk to. but this time instead of just thin air, was a readhed girl, coming towards her.
<<she was wearing a hat and a striped t-shirt. it was her bestest friend,'lily.' lily was heidi's best friend and they did most things together. heidi smiled and looked the other way, trying to look like she hadn't noticed lily. lily came towards her and sat down. heidi smiled at her and then rubbed her hands down her face, while looking infront of her. suddenly lily spoke to her and said 'So. whats wrong?' heidi just smiled at her, and nodded her head. she wanted to say something but didn't have the courage to blurt something out, like she usually would. she leaned on her to hands as she but them on the stone bench behind her. she didn't even know really was was wrong with herself but she soon came up with it. 'oh nothing really. i just, well.... miss my family. and my sister and well adopted baby sister. but nothing much' she said slowly. she really did miss them. even though she just seen them. she was still scared about her dad coming back and hurting her mum. because he would do that when he was angry with someone.
heidi saw the chocolate frog in her hand and took it. 'thank you!' heidi slowly ate the frog and boy, was it delicious. heidi could trust lily with anything, whether it be helping her in a lesson, or anything really. heidi wanted to stay friends with lily and stay friends when they left hogwarts. heidi sorted out her hair again and took in a deep breath, she just missed her family, and that all she could really think about at the moment.

{{ lily rosalie evans }} lily chewed the chocolate frog slowly as she waited for heidi to tell her what was on her mind. usually she'd just burst out with it but this wasn't one of those times. god, she really hoped heidi was about to reveal that she was really a vampire or something. not that she'd really mind, but she didn't fancy being bitten. no, becoming a vampire was not on her list of things to do. lily's mind wandered back to the summer holidays. it hadn't been brilliant, that was for sure. in fact, the past three summers - fifth, sixth and now this one - had been pretty rubbish. one reason was because she and severus were no longer talking. she'd actually stumbled upon him, a few weeks ago, when she was heading towards the woods to run. their brief meeting had been very awkward. severus had looked at the floor, muttered something about having to go somewhere and ran off. lily herself had been embarrassed and on the verge of crying. it was the first time she'd been near him in years. even now, thinking about it, she felt like crying. but she couldn't - that would be unfair to heidi who was obviously upset about something. still, she wished she could talk to someone who understood how she felt. heidi wouldn't understand - she had always disliked severus - and she was popular so nothing like that had happened to her, most probably. lily tried not to think about severus anymore. heidi needed her and she was no use if she was caught up in her petty thoughts.
}} a few moments after pulling herself together heidi finally came out with it. she was missing her family. well, lily couldn't really relate to that. sure, she didn't like being away from her parents for so long but home wasn't such a great place for her anymore. petunia was a big reason for that - she'd visited for two weeks in the holidays and hadn't uttered a word to lily, apart from 'pass the butter'. lily sighed. she had to comfort heidi. "hey. it's the first week of term. you'll see them soon enough. and because you're a pureblood you can send as many owls as you want! anyway, consider yourself lucky that you like spending time with your family. home isn't my favourite place right now," she said, trying to comfort heidi although she sighed on the last sentence. she was actually considering staying over at christmas so she could get away from petunia's moodiness. lily looked down at the chocolate frog card and groaned. "gifford ollerton. i have four of him already. want him?" she offered the card to heidi. seriously, gifford was in nearly every chocolate frog. she'd traded six last year but had four again. lily rolled her eyes and looked around the courtyard. the flowers were beautiful... she closed her green eyes and let herself relax. << you are not alone >> ... for i am here with you <<heidi sat with her head down low, a frown on er face and slow blinks. she started to cry and her makeup was ruined. heidi just wanted to forget about it, but it was hard. she wondered if lily was upset about something too, because heidi knew she would pretend nothing was wrong to help someone else. heidi tryed to think of the rest of her life that didn't include her dad. but everything just kept reminding her of him. heidi looked around again and saw all the happy people running around and going into shops and back out again with bags full. the wind grew stronger and heidi's hair kept blowing in fer face. heidi grw colder in her short sleeve top ad started shivering. the wind was so cold, and so strong. that she only just heard lil speak to her. "hey. it's the first week of term. you'll see them soon enough. and because you're a pureblood you can send as many owls as you want! anyway, consider yourself lucky that you like spending time with your family. home isn't my favourite place right now," hiedi tried to listen carefully, and tok it all in. she should think about lily instead of worry about her family all the time.
<<she was a witch in hogwarts, she should be really happy. heidi though about it and cheered up a bit and forgot about her dad and the rest of her family. "gifford ollerton. i have four of him already. want him?" heidi took the frog, and said thank you lils. you know im going to forget about my family and dad and think about other things for once. heidi smiled at lily and saw her green eyes closed. heidi looked around at the flowers just like lily did. heidi kept smiling and took a deep brath while the wind was slowing down, until it was just a small breeze. heidi closed her eyes and just laughed, she tried to be quiet though so she wouldn't disturb lily.
<<hogsmeade was one of heidi's favourite places at hogwarts, especially all the shops and quiet places. heidi closed her eyes and started to relax just like lily was. she had her eyes closed really lightly so she wouldn't drop to sleep.

{{ lily rosalie evans }} lily was relaxed for the first time in weeks. the first time since the end of last term. as the wind picked up in intensity her red hair whipped around her face, slapping against her skin as it tried to break free. lily's face broke out into a smile and she opened her eyes. heidi had her eyes closed and was obviously trying to calm herself down. as her hair flew around more and more fiercely lily's smile turned into a laugh. soon peals of ringing laughter sounded through the air. lily stood up and began to spin around, her face tilted towards the sky. round and round she spun, faster and faster. her arms were out and the wind pressed against them at force. lily was still laughing when the dizziness overtook her and she fell to the floor. sitting up, she glanced and heidi and began laughing all over again. why was she laughing? lily had no idea. standing up shakily, she headed over to the bench again. she collapsed onto the bench and turned to heidi, face glowing. "that...was...so...fun," she panted, "you...should...try it...sometime." lily grinned widely at her friend, forgetting all her troubles. }} time was getting on and the weather was turning grim. lily was sure she heard the rumble of thunder far off. glancing up at the darkening sky she sighed. "looks like we're heading back, hon," she commented as she stood up. lily took heidi's arm and pulled her up. as soon as her blonde friend was up she linked their arms together and started to walk. lily glanced at her friend and smiled. "you up for a makeover later?" she laughed. makeovers were always fun and they both needed cheering up. WORDS} 287 MUSE} good. OUTFIT} here TAGGED} beth NOTES} lily + heidi = <3.
