Evelyn was a less than happy girl at a young age. She was raised by loving parents, but They moved around quite a bit, probably because of her muggle mother's job. But what her father wouldn't tell was that he was trying to be contacted by his ex - girlfriend , Charitable Valleys. She had scampered from him, and he had moved on to Molly, free of sadness. But Charitable liked to cause pain to her prey, so she kept trying to steal him back unsuccesfully. But as the family lugged across the countryside, something very unfortunate occured.

Evelyn was being picked up from daycare by her mother. Charitable appeared, wand in hand ( as she was a witch. Molly was not. ) Evelyn, young, only five years old, watched as her mother fell to the floor, screaming as she was bewitched with the unforgiveable curse. At this point, Charitable had no idea that Evelyn was in the back seat. Evelyn watched, peeking her eyes up from the leather. She knew what was happening. Her mother was found an hour later, dead, with the girl in the backseat.

Three months later, Charitable and Gabe were married. Evelyn had a new sister, Samantha, who was two years older, a squib, and manipulative. Evie had to learn to be strong through this. She tried to tell her father about Molly's murder, but the magic that Charitable posessed caused her to be silenced. She slept every night under her covers, fearful of Charitable. Eventually, Evie found her powers. One morning, Charitable tried to torture Evelyn. The girl was quick, so she darted around the room. Exhausted, she hid behind a couch. Shivering, something happened. Charitable froze in place. After thawing,s he marched her daughter out of the place and was never seen again.

Three years later, Evelyn was sent a letter from Hogwarts. She, possessing magic, was aloud to walk in the presence of the grand halls of the infamous school.

over and over in her head. the same words, the same meanings alll whirring through her brain. today, she had conveniently decided to record what was on her mind. doing so, she let her hand be her guidance, her brain wash the letters on to the parchment. it was every thing her heart desired. none of it held any thing embarassing, just what she had eaten for breakfast and how her friend had gotten in a fight with her early before breakfast. infuriated, she had written a lot of bad things, but she was calm in doing so. she used cuass words her and there, but nothing that would seem her undignified. standing from the top of the tower, she crumpled the note, suffocating it in her fingers, and chucked it long and hard from atop the tower.

and she watched it fall. time could send it falling in slow motion, much to the annoyance of mamie, who considered it a dramatic and un needed effect. but it was entertaining, watching the smothered paper twirl like a lightweight ballerina learning to perform an advanced ballet. she giggled, watching it's craters, canoyns and mountains, each detail grow smaller and smaller against the backwash of green. until it was only a white speck, she thought of nothing else. suddenly, she heard an extremely light thump. it had landed against the green house. with another roll, it had dissapeared through the sunroof window.

"oh dear," announced mathilde to herself. it would not be a pleasant thing if some one found the note. if it was a student, they'd likely begin gossip, and it would get back to her friend. and then what? would her ex companion finger her for the ditzy crime. or if a prfessor found it, they would use some spell to find the writer, and then she'd get in trouble. mamie was not a goodie two shoes, butshe liked to keep her crimes as down low as she could. Before she knew it, Matty was trotting down the stairs at lightning pace. Her agility lacking, her speed brought her full force into the wall. and when she wasn't bouncing off the stone, her elbows were knocking against it.

Eventually, Mamie was slamming the door of the greenhouse, panting. She scavenged for the note, and winced when she banged her head on the table. She also winced when she realized she could not find the note. It must have fallen some where in here!
